The most popular GATE examination 2012 will be held on 29th January, 2012 (online) and 12th February, 2012 (offline). The said examination will be jointly conducted by the Indian institute of sciences and all Indian institute of technology on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development. The IIT Delhi is given the overall responsibility of conducting the GATE fairly and freely. Eligibility of appearing in the GATE 2012
The candidate those who are willing to appear in the GATE 2012 should have passed the graduation in any engineering stream or presently studying in the final year of their graduation.
Students who have passed the master degree in any branch of science, mathematics, statics, computer Applications or in the final year also eligible for appearing for the GATE 2012

Last date for the receipt of printed form of application - 24th October, 2011
