Eligibility for University of Madras MSc Admission 2011
The candidate should have passed in BA or BSc degree examination with any of the subjects mentioned below:
Geography
Geology
Physics
Environmental Sciences
Computer Science
Computer Applications
Information Technology
Agriculture
Remote Sensing
If not, the candidate should have done geography as one of the subjects of study with knowledge of mathematics or statistics at least at the +2 level or BE Civil Engineering.
All the candidates who have the degrees in other subject will be considered only if they can show interest in geospatial technology.

Candidates can get Madras University MSc applications form in person from the Information Centre in the university on payment of Rs. 300/-.
If the candidate wants the application form by post, he or she have to take a DD of Rs.350/- in favour of "The Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai – 5."
