Madurai Kamaraj University MKU Tamilnadu is inviting applications for admission to the courses mentioned below for the Academic Year 2012-13.
Integrated MSc - Ph.D in Genomics (2 + 3 years)
MSc Microbial Gene Technology (2 years)
MSc Biochemical Technology (2 years)
MSc Sub-Aqua Marine Ecology & Toxicogenomics (2 years)
MSc Electronics and Instrumentation (2 years)
MBA - Master of Business Administration (2 years)
MBA (Hospital Administration) (2 years)
MCA - Master of Computer Applications (3 years)
MA Administrative Studies (2 years)
Eligibility criteria of MKU Tamilnadu 2012
Integrated MSc-Ph.D in Genomics
The candidate should have done his Bachelor's degree in Science in any branch of Life Sciences.
If the students have a BTech Degrees in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Bioinformatics, with Biology at +2 level are also eligible to apply to apply.
Please not the MKU Madurai will allot a 40% seats to candidates outside Tamilnadu.
MSc (Microbial Gene Technology-MGT)
The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in science courses either a Major or an Ancillary subject.
Students from MBBS, B.VSc, BDS, BPharm, BSc(Agriculture) can also apply.
MSc (Biochemical Technology-BCT)
Students should have a BSc degree in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Genetics / Nutrition and Dietetics / Microbiology / Biology / Botany / Zoology/ Chemistry / Medical Laboratory Technology / Triple major with Biochemistry and allied subjects.
MSc (Sub-Aqua Marine Ecology & Toxicogenomics-SAM & TG)
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Life Sciences.
Since the study involves underwater ecology, candidates need to have basic swimming skills.
MSc (Electronics & Instrumentation)
Candidates should have BSc degree with Physics or Electronics as ancillary subject.
MBA (Master of Business Administration) - A pass in any Bachelor's degree.
MBA (Hospital Administration) - A pass in any Bachelor's degree.
MCA (Master of Computer Application)
Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory subject at 10+2 level. If not He/She should be a graduate in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Software / IT.
MA (Administrative Studies)
The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 / 10+2+Agri. / Engg. / Medicine) of any university recognized by the UGC.
