Some of the details regarding the aforsaid courses offered by the Culinary Academy of India are given below:

Three-year Bachelor’s degree course in Catering Technology & Culinary Arts:

This course is offered by the Culinary Academy of India with affiliation from the Osmania University and for seeking admission to this course, candidates must have completed minimum 17 years of age and must have completed 10+2 scheme as approved by the Osmania University with not less than 50% of aggregate marks in any stream of education. Candidates who have not studied English medium at their higher secondary level will have to demonstrate their competency in English during the enrolment process.

Certificate course in Food Production & Patisserie:

The duration of this course is one year and for getting into this course, candidates must have attained 16 years of age, the upper age limit is 25 years (30 years for SC/ST candidates). A pass in senior secondary certificate (SSC) with English as medium of instruction is essential. Candidates with SSC in other languages will have to prove their competency in English during the process of selection. Experience is culinary/food industry is recommended for admission into this course, but it is not compulsory.

Post Graduate Diploma in Culinary Arts:


This course extends to a period of one year and the admission capacity of the institution for this course is 30 students per year. Candidates will be selected for this course based on their performance in the All India level written examination to be conducted at the city of Hyderabad, followed by GD and PI.
